Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the sports of combat. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd was on a stunning three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent in the very first round. Following that, she travelled to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen in a unanimous vote. It left a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent bout with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in the year 2015, when she signed to Invicta FC. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the the first round via TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She won the next match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen used her superior grappling skills to defeat McGill and ended her fight via third-round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at the catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd was unable to reach her weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She won with a TKO after the second round. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last fight in the organization. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She defeated Lina with a pound and grind to her to the ground, gaining the TKO in the second round. She repeated her dominance and picked up a more impressive victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd finished Evinger in the first round, and was awarded a performance of the night bonus. The first big fight she fought in was in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters received their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. It was a unanimous decision against her.
