Kat Dennings is a Pennsylvanian born in Bryn Mawr on 13 June 1986. Her name was Katherine Victoria Litwack. Ellen Dennings was her mom and speech therapist and Gerald was the father as well as a professor at a university. Dennings was the youngest of five siblings and born to a Jewish parents is an accomplished actress. Dennings went through homeschooling but attended school for a brief period. As she began acting at the age of nine, she discovered it was a good idea to homeschool as a option. Actually, by the time she was nine she was already acting commercials. After finishing high school, she and her family moved into Los Angeles in order to explore acting. Kat Dennings, as she was referred to at the time started auditioning.
